OET (Occupational English Test) is an English-language examination that is aimed at medical professionals in healthcare fields such as doctors, nurses, radiotherapists, veterinarians, and physiotherapists. The evaluation of applicants is conducted through the reviews of their reading, listening, and writing/speaking skills, specific to medical content. There are 12 different OET formats, that differ with distinct healthcare occupations. Countries such as the UK, UAE, NZ, Australia, and Singapore accept and recognize OET test scores.
