The PTE Core Listening test contains seven different tasks, that should be completed within 30 minutes.
- Task 1 – Hear an audio and summarise it into 20 – 30 word
- Task 2 – Choose more than one answer for a paragraph that was heard in the recording
- Task 3 – Fill the gaps in the sentence by hearing a transcript
- Task 4 – Choose a paragraph that is similar to the recording
- Task 5 – Listen to a recording and choose the missing words
- Task 6 – Select the words that are incorrect from the one said in the recording
- Task 7 – Type a sentence by listening to the audio
