The OET speaking consists of two tasks, 20 minutes long, and consists of two role plays. In every task, the candidates are in a role-playing situation based on the patient interactions that healthcare professionals usually have. The Speaking sub-test is recorded and the audio is evaluated by two official OET assessors who use the official OET Linguistic and Clinical Communication Criteria. The test will be based on the specifics of the profession of the candidate, therefore, the situations will be the same as those the candidate might face at work.
